RANT A performance by Lisa Channer about her unique father who for 50 years has hosted the interview series “Conversations”, the longest running show on Manhattan Public Access Television. RANT maps the territories of parenting, embarrassment, genius, failure and the outsourcing of love to machines. RANT is for anyone with an unconventional parent and the people who love them. RANT is for everyone. RANT was developed through several workshop periods thanks to support from Skewed Visions, Fresh Oysters Performance Research, Theatre Novi Most, Tofte Lake Artist Retreat, Intermedia Arts / Catalyst Arts, Jerome Foundation, Fury Factory Festival of Performance San Francisco, MN Arts Board Artists Initiative Grant.
